Myers, M.F., as to tho position of .officers receiving appointments under the new defence scheme who wero receiving higher; salaries- under the old system, the Prime Minister states that they will have to submit to reductions. That is the position, speaking generally, but Sir Joseph Ward will go into the'question carefully before giving a final decision.
