Tho local Highland Jiilles Company and visiting Highlanders engaged in a shooting match at the fi-edclifts range-yester-day. The weather conditions were fairly good, although the light was somewhat varying. The match resulted in-a win for the Wellington A team, the scores being as follow:—Wellington -Highland Hides, 629; Dunedin, 60?; Canterbury, 5G7; Auckland,'. 472. ■ THE WANGANUI MEETING. :. .
