At. Rouen' last month,, four French railway strikers, were convicted of murdering a "blackleg." One of them, Durand; .was-sentenced to death, and the others to .eight and fifteen years' penal servitude. The .evidence showed that Durand had himself proposed that the question of the assassination of the "blnckleg be ; put to. tho vote.
