Cardinal Moran, .referring to the education question, said that if the Labour Ministers persisted in the same courso of nj.ustice towards Catholic schools as the Wade Government followed they would jertainly bid good-bye to their official jositions at the next elections. Catholics, declared his eminence, were vatching Mr. Beeby's intentions with ;reat interest. Though they were a ninority, they were determined to assert .heir rights, and were strong enough to issert them. The only battle the Cathoics fought was at the polls. They were letermined to fight it out there.
