STAFF COLLEGE EXAMINATIONS

It is understood that Captain J. G. Roacho, officer commanding the Wellington Guards, has decided not to accept the offer of qualifying for the position of an adjutant. The Victoria College Officers' Training Corps go into camp at Otaki from to-daj' till, the 30th instant for their annual course of training. Part of the time will be snent at Treritham. A circular "has been issued by the Defence Department to ascertain whether there arc any Permanent Forco offioers who aro desirous • of presenting themselves for the entrance examinations of the English or Indian Staff College next year. Names must be submitted before January 21, 1911] to the officer commanding the Wellington district.
