BOT FLY IN HORSES,
VALUABLE DISCOVERY BY A NEW ZEALAND FARMER. It is a well-known fact • that many valuable horses aro lost annually through ffle action of the Bot Fly, anil it will, therefore, be good news to farmers and owners of horsss generally to learn that an efficient and safe reme'dy for this pest has. been discovered. Mr. George 11. Shepherd, of Whangaroa, New SSsalandi writing under date June 23 of this vear. states as follows;—
"Given at the rate of ono tablespoonful in a quart bottlo of water, Quibell's Liquid Dip is a good drench for horses troubled with tho Bot Fly. I have known a horse to all appearance in the last extremity expel scores of tho grub and be able to do his work two days afterwards. I have known several cases in which I consider Quibell's Liquid Dip saved the horses' lives."
The feature of this .remedy is its simplicity, as Quibell's Dip (Liquid) can be obtained anywhere throughout the country.—Advt.
