DEFENCE MATTERS.
CAMP FOR ADJUTANTS AND INSTRUCTORS. It is understood that Lieutenant-Colouel Burnett-Stuart, D.S.O. (Director of Military Training < Operations and Intelligence), will bo in charge of the instructional staff at the forthcoming camp of instruction for ' the temporary adjutants and instructors. Messing and blankets in connection with 'the camp will be supplied to all ranks undergoing training in lieu of camp allowance. If officers and N.C.O.'s choose, tliey may bring their own sadTlie' Commandant (Major-General- Godley) inspected the Wellington detachm'ent of the Permanent Forces jtslerda.v. . , The officers' training corns will go into camp on the 24th at Otaki. It is understood that Captain Hamilton, A.D.C. to his Excellency the Governor, will be ono of the instructional staff. SergeantMajor Rose, 'of the District Staff, will also attend on the instructional staff.
