. ELECTIONS FINISHING. GOVERNMENT MAJORITY STANDS AT 123. THREE SEATS STILL VACANT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. London, December 19. All but three members of the British Parliament have now been elected. The Government majority now stands at 123, against 124 at the conclusion of the General Elections In January. The representation of the different parties is now as .follows, the figures for tho last Parliament being shown in parentheses:— . GOVERNMENT. Liberals (275) 270 Labour members (40).,. 43 Rodmondites (82) 73 v O'Brienites (nil) 9 335 OPPOSITION. Unionists (273) 272 Government majority ... 123 The poll .fer Wick Burghs has still to be taken. There was a Liberal majority of 275 for this seat in January, but Unionists wero returned in 1906 and 1900. Two Redmondite seats in Ireland have also to be filled. Should tho January results be repeated in these three contests the Government would have a final majority of 126, a gain of two seats, MINISTERIAL PLEDGES. WARNING BY MR. DILLON. - (Rec.. December 20, 10.10 p.m.) .. London, December 20. • Mr. John Dillon, Nationalist member for Mayo,' speaking at Ballaghadcrreen, in Ireland, said the Ministers''pledges on Home Rule could not be improved..- He believed them honest and sincere, but through all his life he had' warned the people against placing reliance on the pledges of English Ministers. Though given with tho best intentions it might be made impossible for them to redeem those pledges. Ireland , must rely on a united party and a united country to hold tho Government to its promises.
