Unofficial intimation of the result of their-work, has been received by a number of candidates in. the recent law examinations. Following aro some of tho successful candidates: —

Section solicitors' examination and section LL.B.: S. W. Rapley, F. A. do la Mare, 8.A., R. H. Sladden. I'', L. G. West, Jj. L. Hitchings. A. E. Dobby, G. G. Bell, F. E. Kelly, Eric Wright, W. J. M'Eldowney, and 'S. 51.' M'Alistc-r. The last-named received special mention for the particular papers in which he passed. These results are subject to confirmation at the meeting of the University Senate in January. The complete list of successful candidates will then be available.
