PREFERENCE PROPOSALS. By Teleffraph—Press Association—Copyriebt. Melbourne, Deoember 17. The suggestion by Canada that the Australian delegates to the Coronation should confer with the Canadian delegates on. preferential trade is warmly supported by the Federal Minister for External Affairs.
Mr. Batchelor states that'the general question of preferential trade with all parts of the Empire is receiving consideration.
