' CEREMONY AT UPPER HUTT. Yesterday, afternoon, his Grice Archbishop Redwood, visited Hutt in order to lay the foundation stone of the new Catholic Orphanage, which is beiDg. built in that'township to replace the institution that has been conducted, during the- past- sixty years, in Wellington. In addition to the Archbishop, there were present the Very Rev. Father O'Shea, F.M., Vicar-Generai, and the Rev.. Father Hdckson, legal manager of St.. Joseph's Orphanago The parishioners of Upper Hu.tt attended the function in large numbern, and also in attendance were about sixty children, who will bo tho first occupants of.the new building. They aro at. pre. sent in temporary, quarters not far tfrom the orphanage, which is to be their ffuture home..
