; * , A YEAR'S WORK. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. London, December 15. As a result of the year's operations, King Edward's Hospital Fund will distribute £155,000 among the various instifcutions in London.
King Edward's Hospital .Fund for London was founded in 1897, on the initiative of King Edward, then Prince of Wales, to oommemorate the COth anniversary of Queen Victoria's reign. The total received by the fund to tho end of 1908 was .£2,529,393. The awards have amounted to .£989,576, and tho invested, fimds, including- gifts to capital, amount' to .£1,809,635. Sinco 1897 tho total number. of. beds reopened as froe beds has been over 400.
