GERMAN ROYAL TOUR.
CEOWN PEINCE IN BOMBAY. By Teleerarh—Press Assorialion-Oopyrieht. Bombay, December 14. German Crown Prince has arrived here, and received a cordial, welcome. The Prince is the guest of the Governor (Sir Sydenham Clarke). The present is tho first world tour to bo made by a' German Crqwn Prince. Tho Prince proceeded to Ceylon on a North German Lloyd liner, being accompanied by the Princess, who returned homo after a three weeks' stay in tho island. From Colombo the Prince proceeded in tho German cruiser Gneisenau to Bombay, and in this cruiser tho remaining sea voyages of the tour will be made. The whole of the German people is convinced of tho epoch-making character of tho tour. The most elaborate arrangements have been made by tho German press to 1 report tho tour throughout. So keen has been tho competition that, in order to avoid jealousies, no correspondents are to bo allowed on board the Gneisenau. Two months will be spent by the Crown Prince in India. Tho itinerary of his tour is roughly as follows:— . Arrival in India (Bombay), December 14. Departure from Calcutta, February 15; Singapore, February 20. Batavia (Dutch E. Indies), March 2.
