WELLINGTON SHAKE MAKKET. • A fair amount of business in mining shares was done yesterday, but prices arc still. very low. There was a slight improvement in Waihis, with sales up to £5 16s. 3d. The Auckland Stock Exchange has decided to halve commissions as between buyer and seller from January 9 next, thus bringing its practico into conformity with the rules .of : the southern exchanges.
