DAMAGE TO THE WAIPARA.
CLAIM AGAINST QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT. . . . By Association—Oqpyriffht. Brisbane,' December 7. The British India Steam Navigation Company has issued a writ against the Stato Government claiming ,£IOO,OOO damages in connection with the steamer VPaipara striking a rock in Moreton Bay, while being taken to sea. The steamer was badly damaged.
