GERMAN BOMB OUTRAGE.

Werner, the accomplice in the bomb outrage at the Town Hall at Jriedberg (Hesse) on June 22, has been sentenced to imprisonment for life. '■•• . ■ "This town was thrown into a state ot great excitement this afternoon by a violent which took place in the ,lown .Hall" (telegraphed the Friedberg correspondent of "The Times" on June 22). Ihe staircase was ' destroyed ' and several doors and walls were blowa awaj. At the same time a man rushed into a branch of tho Imperial Bank which.. is closo by and fired a revolver at the manager/who happened to-be alone, severely wounding him; A number of people,who heard tho report hurried up, and tho miscreant made off on a bicycle. A schoolboy and two' peasants who "tried' to "stop him were shot and wounded. Tho man cycled on until ho had nearly reached Bad Nnuheim, and then shot him.'clfdead. A sura of ,£235 was found on him. "The authors of the outrage committed yesterday at Friedberg, in. Hesse,:' seem to be two young men who have been living, at- Frankfurt and neighbouring places.
