BOILERMAKERS' LOCK-OUT.
PROSPECTS OF A SETTLEMENTr By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. (Rec. December 9, 1.5 a.m.) London, December 8. The shipbuilders and the Boilermakers' Society have conferred at Edinburgh. There is a good prospect of tho ending of the lock'-out, on the basis of tho establishment of a tribunal of three employers and three members of the allied trades, as a standing committee to meet within '21 hours of a breach of an agreement for the purpose of adjudicating. If the .committee fails to agree, an overman will be. selected, whose decision will be final.
