This evening the girls of the ; college produced "She Stoops to Conquer,". tho Assembly Hall being crowd-> ed with past and present girls and their friends. '.''.. '-...• The Wanganui' Borough Council is on the track of those plumbers who are not doing . their work as required by the by-laws. A tradesman was'before the magistrate this morning, bat, as: he had repaid the. council the cost ot altering his work, ho was fined only in ; a nominal amount, the case being chiefly intended.as a warning.. . ■ Sixty Boy Scouts left Wanganai today, to take part'in-tho Scouts' carnival nt Feilding. :.'.-.
