''FAKING" SHOW FLOWER BLOOMS. DISQUALIFIED FOK LIFE. New Plymouth, December 5. The Waitara Horticultural Society today disqualified an exhibitor for life for "faking" the blooms.of pelargoniums and geraniums by piecing together petals of various blooms, and decided to notify all horticultural societies in the Dominion. The New Plymouth Society to-night decided to ask him lo resign from membership and to refrain from cxhibitiiii; here. The offender is a very old and enthusiastic grower and ■exhibitor. Duncdin, An unoccupied house at Opoho, valued at ',£250, and owned by Edward Osten, Wellington, was totally destroyed by five. It was insured for .£250 in. the State office. The origin of the- fire is a mystery.
