A largely-attended meoting--of tho 1 Technical Education Board ..was . 'held £ ' last night. The matter .of making a contribution to the Teachers' • Benevolent Fund was'considered, many -:':p > being in favour of holding a "self-denial" week among teachers in -order to'.mate •, ■ a collection. Several teachers expressed 1 ignorance of the real, object of the fund, 1 and further .'consideration'', was 'post- ■; 1 poned until the next annual meeting.
