At a meeting of shareholders of the first and second issues of the City and Suburban Co-operativo Building Society held last evening at the offices of Gualter, Dykes, and Co., -Mr. 0. W. Martin and Mr. H.- D. Menelaus drew £300 and £500 respectively, entitling them to loans of that amount free of interest. j CUSTOMS. -Customs' Tevonuo collected at Wellington during the past month totalled £71,490 7s. 10d., as against £48,943 15s. 2d. for November of last year. The beer duty totalled £1122 35., against £1102 lis. 6d. . Customs revenue collected at the port 67 Wellington yesterday amounted to £3201 Is. 4d. THE AUCKLAND FIGURES. (By Press Association.! Auckland. November 30. The .not Customs duties collected at the nort of Auckland during tho month of Novomber amounted to £58,987, which is an increase of over £14,000 over the corresponding month of last year, when the total was £44,566. The surtax last month amounted,to £1297 and beer duty to £2610, as compared with £2427 for November, 1909. Tho gold entered for export last month shows a considerable increase as compared with November, 1909, tho quantity being 24,8780z. 15dwt. and the value .£100,281, as against 22,1410z. 19dwt. valued at £86,404 for tho November return last year. The New Zealand Loan ■ and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, havo received the following cablegram from their London house, under date November 29:— "Wool continues to meet with good demand. As compared with last sales' closing rates prices are lower about 5 per cent to 7J per cent for merino medium and inferior and faulty wools; about par to 5 per cent higher for crossbreds; and about 5 per cent higher for lambs." Messrs. Dalgcty and Company; Limited, report having received a- cable from their London office under> date November 29, reading as ■ follows:—"Owing to a thick fog, no sales have been held to-day. As compared with last season's closing rates greasy merino wools, heavy earthy and wasty, are fully 5 .per cent lower, but merino' wools of other descriptions are unchanged. .
