THE BROOME CYCLONE.
DEATH-ROLL OF NEARLY SIXTY. By TelcEraph—Press Association—Oopyrieht. (Rec. November 30, 9.50 p.m.) Perth,. November 30. The official report on the Broome cyclone states that G7 pearling boats were blown ashore, 28 were sunk at their moorings, and ten are still missing. Six of these are known to have been sunk, and there is no hope of hearing of tho others. Eleven bodies of coloured men have been recovered, and 40 more are known to have perished.
Three whites are known,to have been drowned.
It is estimated that the damage to the pearling vessels amounts to between .£14,000 and £20,000.
