; ' London, November 30. ' Mr. H V/ C. late of the Grenadier GfuVds, "lias lie'en appointed Vice-Co'nsul at Adana, in Asiatic Turkey.. [Mr. Woods resigned his position as lieutenant in the second battalion of tho Grenadier Guards in '1909. He had been reported as incompetent, and brought a series of charges against his commanding officers, alleging tnat they had.sent in unfair reports against him. An inquiry was held, and reported against Lioutenant Woods.]
