Yesterday afternoon five Hundredweight of guncotton from Shelly Bay, was placed aboard the Corinna in the stream by the Janie Seddon. Tho explosive is to he conveyed to Oamaru. when it will bo used in "rain-niakine" experiments. It is reported that Stalf-S'crgt. Colbert, Dtnicdin, who was formerly stationed in Wellington, will be entrusted with the experiments. According to the Hon. R.
