In the Legislative Assembly Mr. Holman (Attoiney-GencTal) on being challenged by Mr. W-ado, Leader : of tJlo Opposition, produced papers' referring to the imprisonment of I'etor Bowling, tho Newcastle strike' leader, and including a number of ofßcial reports.
In connection..wiih the destruction of cortain.of tho papers there, was a warm dohate, in which Mr. 'Wade' declared that Mr. Holman had tried to mislead the public into ; tho belief that ho had destroyed the papers, whereas the reports were proved to havo been" destroyed by officials in the nsual way.
