TUOTICE is hereby given that at a -{•' Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on THURSDAY, tho 17th day of November, 1910, it was resolved as follows:— I. Tho Wellington City Council hereby resolves by Special Order in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by "Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1808," nnd of every other Act and power enabling it in that behalf: 1. To accept a surrender of the leaso dated the third day of Iforch, 1873, Registered Number made between the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington of the first part, ffis Excellency Sir James Ferguson Bowen of the second part, and Ebonezer Henry Hunt of the third part, whereby tho land commonly known as Section 122, Lambton Reclamation, City of Wellington, became vested in.,the said Ebenezer Henry Hunt, his executors, administrators, and assigns for tho term of 12 years' from tho first day of January, 1872, at tho rents and subject to the covenants, conditions, and. provisions in the said lease contained;

and 2. To lease the said land to John Fuller, Benjamin Fuller, and John . Fuller the Younger, in whom tho residue of tho saixl term/ is now vested :nt the ycariy rental of .£ll2 t los., subject as follows:— (1) The ; surrender and new lease shall take effect from tho first day of January, 1913. (2) The term of tho new ltnse shall bo the uiiexpired portion of the term of the surrendered lease. (3) The new lease shall contain a covenant for granting renewals in perpetuity at a 'ground rent to be nxed -by valuntion for . successive periods of fourteen years, and shall contain the same covenants, conditions, and provisions as are contained in the Te Aro .Reclamation Leases, with this exception that tho time limited for building shall be 1G months. from the first day of January, 191], instead of tho time usually prescribed. 11. The Council of the City of Wei-. lingtou hereby resolves by Special Order in exercise of the .powers vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act, l!) 08," and of all other Acts aud powers enabling it in that behalf:— • To accept a surrender of a Leasts dated the 31st day of Dccsmber, 1892, Rj>gistered Number G43SI, of Section 119, ■ Lambton Reclamation, granted by tho Mayor, Councillors, aud I ■ Citizens of the City of AA'cllinglon to the Bank of New Zealand, aud to lease the land comprised in tho said lease to the Australian Tcm'perance and General Life Assuranco Society, Limited, in which the residue now' to come arid unexpircd of tho term of years created, by tho! said lease is vested at a yearly ' rent of_ ,£122" 10s., payable ' half. yearly in advance, subject as fol- . lows:— (1) The Surrender and new lease to take effect as on and from tho thirty-first -day of December, 1910. (2) The term of the new kaso shall bo .. the unexpired portion of the term of the surrendered leases. . (3) The new lease shall contain a covenant for granting renewals in perpetuity at a ground rent valuation .for successive periods of fourteen years, and shall contain the same. covenants, conditions, and ■provisions (mutatis mutandis) as aro contained in the Te Aro Reclamation Leases now granted by tho Corporation, with this exception that there 6hall be no building covenant in the new leaso-to bo granted! . ■ .
