EGG-LAYING COMPETITIONS.

THIRTIETH WEEK., W. Knight's White Leghorns fulfilled what many expected of them during the week by running into the lead in the Papanui egg-laying competition. With, a- score of 34 for the week they sent their-total up to 925, four in front of Thomson's, White Leghorns, which only tallied 29 for the seven days. 'Sail's White Leghorns are third' with 916, and Mrs. Hawke's fourth with 912. Both pens laid 34 eggs during tho week. Tho bare particulars were published in.The Dominion several days ago.
