PARLIAMENT

THE COUNCIL. IMPREST SUPPLY BILL. Tho Legislative Council met at' 10.30 o'clock on Saturday morning to receive tho Imprest Supply Bill No. 6 from the House. The Bill was passed through all stages. .. DENTISTS AMENDMENT. The ATTORNEY-GENERAL moved that the Council should insist upon its amendments in.the Dentists Amendment Bill. ' This was agreed to, and tho Hons. Dr. Findlay, Dr. Collins, and tho Hon. W. C. Smith were appointed to draw up the reasons for iusisting on tho amendments. ■ . ■ On tho motion of _the •Attorney-Gen-eral, the Council adjourned until 2.30 o'clock this afternoon, when Dr. Findlay proposes that local Bills received from the House shall he put through. The motion was agreed to, and the Council rose.
