MAGISTRATE PROTESTS AGAINST CLEMENCY. Bj Telegraph-Ercss AEsociation-Copyriclit. ■ London, November 25. Sir Albert Do Rutzen, Chief Magistrate of tho Metropolitan Police Courts, has twice protested to the Home Office against tho withdrawal of prosecutions against Suffragettes, as being an incentivo to further violence on their part, and also affording tlioso arrested opportunities of disproving the charges. Threo Suffragettes havo been sentenced to two months , imprisonment for damaging Government offices. Another has been arrested for breaking windows in tho Premier's residence.
