There followed charges and countercharges of disloyal speeches, particular' reference being made .to .speeches made by Mr. Drumtnond during the recent by-election for Athabasca. -, Ottawa, November 24. During an interview, Mr. Maun, a well-known Canadian railroad' builder, declared that tho advantages of having British capital at the back of Dominion enterprises were worth overy possible contribution to Imperial defence.
