Mr. Buick is liot a believer in the trimming arid pronounced artificial feeding of sheep,which has been introduced .hero of lato yoars.under tho English -system'.- His sheep aro shown naturally. They are fed on grass pastures, green oats and turnips; no oil cake, but a bit of 'crushed oats and chaff at show time, just to harden thorn. Tho sheep aro never housed, and' only ruggod about a month or six weeks prior to. tho. show period. Tho soil at "Daisy- ■ rams-wero by Waipoua 11-. All Mr. burn" combines qualities for growing both wool and bone. Mr. Buick's objective is to study ,tho science of sheepbreeding for tho general benefit of the Romucy breed .all over- tho Dominion, and to keep nothing but the beat. rams.
