— ♦ ■ THE MAN WHO STRUCK BUIXJ \ FINCH. • Mr. Dorham L. Doolette, the.principal shareholder in the Bullfinch Proprietary Mines in West Australia, was. originally intended for the medical profession. But tho gold fever laid hold of him, and now he expects to become a millionaire by! occupation. 'Mr. Doolette received his early education in Adelaide, and after- : wards entered upon his medical course at the University of Sydney. His advancement was rapid, and "lie was. connected, with the Sydney and 'Melbourne - Hospitals for short periods, though it was his intention to spend, three years in England to'- complete his education. Just before ho was to leave, however," hi 3' father, Mr. G. P. Doolette, struck it rich at the Boulder, and he bade the professional career "Good-bye," and became a seeker after gold. Eighteen years ago the discoverer of Bullfinch achieved a big success by discovering Niagara. in coinpany with Charlie Northmore and Dick. Baggott. This was n gold mine in the true sense of the word, and it made him a rich man right away. A little later he went to England to meet his father, and, on his return ho was his father's representative on the fields.
