FROM 'FRISCO TO NEW ZEALAND. On leaving San Francisco on Wednesday,• November 16. tho Union Company's Aorangi, which inaugurated the new service from New Zealand to 'Frisco, had 1000 tons of pencral cargo and 90 paesenßcrs on hoard. Of tho total tonnapo 4C-0 tons are for Wellington and 300 tone for Sydney, tho balance being for other New Zenland ports. The Aorangi is duo here ou December 8. SALE OF THE INDRAHIRI, It is roported that tho well-known Tyfcr steamer Indrahiri has been sold, but the purchasers aro not yet named. This vessel was one of the pioneers of the Tyser Line, and arrived on her first trip to the colonies during 1896. Owing to tho sale, the Indro* hiri, which was to have left New York for Australia and New Zealand ports on Dec'ember 26, has had to bo substituted by a chartered steamer named tho Oranley—one of Messrs. Dixon's (Ltd.) fleet. The latter vessel is well known in Australian waters,.
