At a meeting of ladies and gentlemen held in the. Mayor's Room, Town Hall,-, last evening, arrangements were made in? connection with the concert to bo held in the Town Hall on Saturday, December 3, in connection with Mother Mary Joseph Aubert's golden jubilee. . His Excellency. the Governor will be present, - anil make a presentation, to Mother Aubert, representing the nrocecds of the jubilee fund to mark the occasion. The fund has now reached JJIOOO and donations are coming in freely. Full, particulars oi the concert programme will bo published later..-Donations may lia ' forwarded to the lion, treasurer, Mrs. T. Cf. Macai-thy, Boulcott Street. The quarterly "social" of the Welsh Society was held in Godber's Rooms last evening, Mr. Rces Watkins presiding. Items were contributed by Mesllames A. L. Lewis and Jones, Messrs. Harding and Evans, and Miss Walker, and an address, by Mr. J. L. Jones.
