(Specially written for The Dominion.) WEDNESDAY. Mutton and Tomato Pie. Potatoes. Cabbage. Economical Bread Pudding. . ECONOMICAL ' BREAD PUDDING. lib. crusts of bread, 2oz. sugar, 2oz. suet, 1 or 2 beaten eggs. Soak the crusts in .cold water until quite soft. Squeeze dry, break up with a fork, add.the suet chopped, the egg, and the sugar. Line a greased: -pic-dish with this mixture, fill with stewed apples or. any stewed fruit sweetened.- Cover with another layer of the .mixture. Bake about one hour. Jam or marmalade may be used instead of fruit, then it is better to put alternate layo.i'6'oS the bread mixture and, jam. Turn out and sift sugar over.- Serve hot. FOR TO-MORROW. 21b. Chops: lib.
