Hewitt •presiding. oyer a good attendance. • ■• ' , The election of officers for the ensuing vear resulted as follows:—President, Mr. G. D. Hewitt; vice-president, Mr. W. M. Jackson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. W. Woods; auditor, Mr. J. Fitssimmons; committee, MesftTs. J. Fitrsimmons. "W. A. Drury, 1 ? . Agate,. J. Dryden, F. J. Nelson, ,!•. Farley, D. Johnson, E. Lambert, and J. H. Gressier. It was decided to appoint Messrs. .T. FitESimmone, W. M. Jackson, G. D. Hewitt, J. Farley, Sir Kenneth. Douglas, W; A. Drury, and J. Dryden, a dernitation to wait upon the Wellington Education Board and urge the provision of a school at Vogeltown. It was decided to instruct the fccretsry to writ® to the the Mornington and the' Vemiell Estates, inviting them to confer with the Vogeltown Ratepayers' Association with a view to forming a deputation to wait, upon the City Couucil, and urging tho extension oil tho tramway system to Vogeltown. It was also resolved to ask tho City Council for a report as to the most' suitable route which t.ho tramway extension (if anv) might take. It was resolved to ask the City Council to inform the association of the decision arrived at in legard to. two petitions that/were presented to the council during the last two. years. These petitions were in reference to . the regradhiir of K W. Mills's Koad.
