ADVENT OF FREEZING SEASON. (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Wanganui, November 21. The Wanganui Freezing Company starts its season next week, and, on December 9 the Tyser steamer Ncrehana will call at Castlecliff for the first,cargo of meat for the London market. Joseph M'Conville, aged sixty, was found dead in his whare at Kokatahi, Parapara Road, about 35 miles from town, this morning. He appeared to bo in his usual health about half an hour previously. The body will bo brought to town for tho purposes of an inquest. Webb's second deposit was made good ■with the stakeholders to-<lay. The final payment of ,£IOO from each man is due the week before the race. '■ ■ ■ Cattle shippers complain of the neglect of the railway authorities to keep - the cattle wharf in repair. At present it is in a filthy and dilapidated state, and the work of shipping is thereby rendered very difficult, especially at .night timo.
