AMERICAN SAILORS AT CHERBOURG. UyTelecrapli-Prcss.Associartion-Copyrlglit. Paris, November 20. Riotous American bluejackets fought their way into a Cafe do Paris at Cherbourg at midnight, and insisted on being served with drinks. A French patrol ordered the Americans to leave, but tho bluejackets retorted by disarming the commanding officer of the patrol. They then cleared tho cafe with fixed bayonets. They smashed windows and fired revolvers. An American sailor was stabbed during a quarrel with a Frenchman, and tho body thrown into tho dock. Tho bluejackets were angered because many of their number were robbed at Cherbourg.
