An influential committee of tho Home universities' has formed a congress of ,the universities of tho Empire. The congress is to meet in the first week of 'July, .1912, and the oversea universities have been invited to 6end early in 1911 their suggestions regarding the provisional agenda paper, including proposals relating to university organisations: and the relations of universities, firstly, to teachers and undergraduates; secondly to post-graduates and • research work; and thirdly to schools and other agencies for higher education. .^ £ ,Tho leading British universities will invite the members' of the congTess to pay thorn a visit. • ■' ■ ' • - - ' f
