Fifeshire arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton, and anchored in the Strean before betrhing at tho Glasgow Wharf _No. 2 north. The vessel, aftei completing loading operations, will sail finally for Avonnibuth direct on Thursday November 24. TUKKESrAN, DUE TO-DAY. On Saturday, at 9.30 n.m. tho' New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered steamer Turkestan left Auckland in continuation of her voyage from Mont-real for Wellington. ' She should show up at this port some time this morning, and will berth at No. 14 north on arrival. MAITAI LEAVES AUCKLAND. At 12.45 p.m. on Saturday tho Union Company's ilaitai left Auckland in continuation of her voyage from Wellington to San Francisco, via Barotonga- and Papeete. The vessel took the following cargo from Auckland for 'Frisco :-2Cfl boxes butter,' 75 casss kauri gum, 110 packages kauri gum. For Earotonga she took 50 tons of general cargo, and 75 tons for Papeete. Thu Itaitai is due at tUo American port on December 9. S.S. Mangapapa- leaves for Westport and Karamea to-day, at 5 p.m. ■ To-morrow tho Blackball Company's steamer Ngatoro is expected to clear Grcyraouth for Wellington with hunker conl for the Kaikoura.. It is reported that tho American foarmasted schooner Lynian D. Foster, 692 tons, has hecu chartered to load Orceron pine at Portland, Oregon, tor Dunc'din and Lyttelton. The' Koonya '13 to bo laid up for overhaul at lJunedin. She will resume, running some time this week to New Plymouth and the West Coast. Early on Wednesday morning the Government steamer Hincmoa- will leave port for tho Cook Strait lighthouses. She .is oxpected back at the end of tills week or beginning of nest., The liglithoiuc expert (Mr. Frxser) will go with tho vessel in order to attend to Jackson's Head light, which has remained stationary for some weeks, instead of ocqulting. It will be remembered that eight months ago tho schooner AVainu was dismasted in a- galo in tho Bay of Plenty, and was subsequently picked up and towed to Auckland by the steamer linneTdalo. The vessel has just undergone an extensive overhaul, and in a few days will leave Auckland for Whangaroa, whore a new engino will bo fitted.- Tho Waipu will subsaqucntly trade' between Auckland, East" Coast ports, and Wellington.
