RACIAL SUPREMACY.
.. AND HOW TO MAINTAIN IT. Speaking at the Central Mission Men's Brotherhood ' meeting yesterday >on tho destiny, of. the white, raco and tho prospects opened by tho rise of alion-colourwj races, Sir Robert Stout declared that only by, cultivating their-..strength', physical, mental, and moral, could the whito races maintain their position in the world.'To tho health and well-being of a nation it was a first essential that it should avoid tho drug habit. The people of the white race, the Chief Justice raid, were entoring upon an enormous struggle. The yellow races and the nw*ro races wanted to live, and 60 did people, of the white race. Arming for the inevitable • strugile, we must do everything to make ourselves physically strpni?. Wo must abandon tho wastofulnud injurious use of slcoliol if wo would continue the struggle with any prospect of success. The speaker mnde a strong plea for toleration; and urged his hearers to abstain from erednlitv and to engage in a constant search for truth. If tho white race became strong phvsically and intellectually, and morally kind, it would live, and nothing what; ever would aver prevail against it. Having 'this foundation, nothing could unset or destroy it. Failing suoh a development, it would pass out of existence as other races had done in the past
