Since the recent rain, growers are inclined to offer a little moro freely, though thcro is no great quantity on the market. For damaged wheat there is no demand except for fowl feed. Oats are very firm in consequence of a good demand from the North Island. Thcro are, however, practically none offering locally, and any lots that have been for sale in the country have found buyers among farmers who were short of feed.
