AT THE ABATTOIRS.
OCTOBER'S KETTJRN.During October the following utock was slaughtered at Iho Municipal Abat-1 toirs at Ngahanranpa:—24 cows, .101 bul- 1 locks and heifers, 2775 sheen* . r )32 lambs, 2G calvcs. and 2 pigs. Of these. '1 cows, 12 bullceivS, 14 sheen, 1 calf, and 1 lamb, were condemned as unfit for human consumption. The fee.s due for stock slaughtered at, the'abattoirs amount to »£9O 75., an increase of .£3l) 7s. on last month, and the total amount received lor slaughtering was JJ352 IIK r>d., an increase of .£-13 4s. fld. on the previous month. Tho* fees received from meat slaughtered in meat export slaughter-houses for sale m the city, was .£IBO 4s. lid., a decrease of 10s. 2d. on the amount for September. The sale of offal amounted to ,£S2 lis. -2d., an increase of «£35 <s. lid. The increaso in the stock slaughtered in October, as against the previous month, was 118 bullocks and heifers, 1010 sheep, <103 lambs, and 2 pigs.
