TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for The Dominion.) WEDNESDAY.Cold brisket of beef. Salad.. Potatoes Lemon pie. :-•'LEMON PIE. Oiig tablespoonful of cornflour, on breakfastcupful of boiling water, on tablespoonful of. butter, ono teacupfu of sugar, two eggs, one largo lemoi (grated rind and juice). Mix the corn flour with a little cold water, pour th boiling water on to it, stirring well al Return to the saucepan,. et-i until it boils, then add butter am sugar, the grated lemon rind and th juice. Take off the'fire,-let it cool i little, add the well-beaten yolks of th eggs. Line the rim and a little of th sides of a piedish .with good pastry Pour in the mixture and bake until th pastry is cooked. Beat the whites o the eggs to a stiff froth, then mix th teaspoonful of sugar with them. Pu over the pio and cook slowly until se and a light brown colour. FOR TO-MORROW. Three or four sweetbreads, Freud beans, rhubarb, suet, half a pint' o stock.
