CONCILIATION BOARD. ADVANCES IN WAGES CONCEDED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. London, November 14. Mr. Charles Stanton, the Socialist leader, who has been forming fighting brigades- at Abcrdarc, headed a miners' deputation at Cardiff, and submitted tho men's grievances to a conciliation board. Tho owners have conceded the minors' application for a 1J per cent advance on the general wage, rate in South Wales. London, November 15. (Rec. November 15, 10.50 p.m.) The men's representatives on tho Conciliation Board at Cardiff admitted that the Powell-Duffryn stoppage was irregular, and asked to have tho grievance sifted. The owners, however, refused to negotiate until the Powell-Duffryn ■ men resumed work.
