ANGLICAN MISSION.
The' Anglican Mission nt Kilbirnie closed on Sunday. At 2.30 p.m. the Eev. M. Kinloch conducted a children's service, when every child received a mission memorial card. Immediately following the children's service was a well-at-tended service for men, Mr. Kinloch addressing the gathering on "Confessing Christ Before the World." In the church grounds after the Bervico the men present gave three cheers for the missioner. At the 7 o'clock service—a thanksgiving for the blessings of the mission—the Church was thronged, chairs being placed in every possible corner. Mr. Kinloch took for his subject Ezekiel's vision of the River of God, for over flowing from out the altar, and so ended a mission which, will long be remembered by the Anglican pebplo at Kilbirnie. The vicar (the Eev. H. G. Blackburne) leaves to-morrow to'take part in the- mission at Dunedin. Next Sunday tho Bishop of Wellington (Dr. Wallis) will conduct both services ,at Kflbirnie.
