DESPAIRING COUNTESS ATTEMPTS SUICIDE. By Telegraph—Press Associatiori-Oopyrieht. (Rec. November 13, 5.5 p.m.) London, November 12. Reuter's St. Petersburg correspondent reports that Count Tolstoy, accompanied by his physicinn, disappeared on October 10, his destination being unknown. He wrote, stating that he intended spending his remaining days in solitary retirement, and asked his wife not to seek him. He begged forgiveness for tho grief ho might cause her.
