SYDENHAM 'WOE-KING MEN'S CLUB. , ißy Telecraph.-Prcsß Association.! Chrlstchurch, November 12. It .is understood, that, consequent on the result of the recent inquiry into the conduct .and management of the Sydenham Working. Men's Club, and after due consideration .by Ministers of the statements made on bohalf- of the club in rebuttal of the findings of the commissioner, the Cabinet has been - unable to see its way to reverse the decision it previously arrived at to cancel the club's charter. The club has received information to that effect, and also that the cancellation of the clubs charter, will take effect as from December 17 next.
