KING EDWARD MEMORIAL.
ALTERNATIVE PROPOSALS. By Telegraphs-Press Association-Copyrieht. London, November 8. The King Edward Memorial Committee received IG4 suggestions for memorials to the late King. These have been reduced to four—Historical museum, Lord Avebury's central hall for tho University of London, Lord Evcrslcy's annexe to Westminster Abbey, and the acquisition of'tho Crystal Palace. The committee will further consider Lord Northcote's suggestion of an endowment for tropical research.
