ANARCHY IN WALES.
PANORAMA OF WRECKAGE. MINE MANAGER AND FIFTY MEN HELD BY RIOTERS. MILITARY REINFORCEMENTSBr Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright. London, November 8. There has been further rioting by the miners on strike at Clydach Vale, Glamorganshire, and sixty strikers have had to be sent to hospital. A cavalry regiinent at Swindon has been sent to Cardiff. Mr. Asquith has invited the men's representatives to confer regarding the Cambrian dispute. The chairman of the Miners' Federation Committee is undertaking to use his iniluence to prevent injury to property and life. The affected district presents a panorama, of wreckage. Shop windows have everywhere been smashed. Fifty men, including the general manager of the Glamorgan Colliery, are imprisoned in the powerhouse, the mob holding them as hostages. Men are keeping the pumps going, thus preventing tho ruining of the mine.
Troops have arrived at Swindon, where they are being held in readiness to proceed to Wales. Three hundred additional police have been despatched to Clydach Vale.
